What We Treat
Wrist Range of Motion Exercises
Our physical therapists can prescribe a variety of exercises to address your specific wrist issues, including:
- Flexor Stretch: Gently bend your wrist down and use your opposite hand to apply slight pressure.
- Extensor Stretch: Gently bend your wrist upward, using your opposite hand for support.
- Radial/Ulnar Deviation: Move your wrist from side to side.
Nerve Gliding Exercises
For carpal tunnel syndrome, your therapist may teach you nerve gliding exercises to help improve the mobility of the median nerve.
Joint Mobilization
We will perform hands-on techniques to mobilize and improve the movement of the wrist and hand joints.
Activity Modification
We may suggest modifications to your daily activities to reduce strain on your wrists and hands.
